1. Observe condition of chimney/outside vent
2. Check/adjust/clean thermostat control and electrical connections
3. Check operation of system during operation for pre-existing conditions
4. Check for proper venting of appliance when operating
5. Check carbon monoxide levels near furnace/boiler and heat registers
6. Visually inspect condition of heat exchanger
7. Visually inspect condition of burners and pilot assembly
8. Test condition of ignition system.
9. Check proper operation of all safeties
10. Check voltage and amperage of indoor blower motor or circulation pump
11. Insect condition of blower belt, adjust tension or replace if necessary
12. Inspect condition of all motors, circulation pump and blower assembly
13. Check condition of air filter.  Clean washable filter
14. Check manifold pressure
15. Check immediate area of furnace/boiler for gas leaks
16. Check gas
17. Calculate temperature rise
18. Check system through complete cycle after completion of tune up
19. Complete check sheet and leave a copy with customer

1. Record outdoor temperature
2. Check/adjust/clean thermostat control and electrical connections
3. Check operaton of complete system durning normal cycle
4. Check condition of air filter.  Clean washable filter
5. Inspect condition of blower assembly
6. Inspect condition of blower belt, adjust tension or replace if necessary
7. Lubricate and inspect condition of all motors and bearings
8. Install gauge, check refrigernat operaing pressures
9. Check voltage and amperage on condenser circuit
10. Check temperature drop across evaporator
11. Check for proper condensate drainage from evaporator
12. Check condition of lineset and insulation
13. Clean condenser coil on outside unit
14. Check systems operation after completion of tune up
