HVAC for Seasonal Lake Homes
Roscommon County has one of Michigan's largest seasonal populations — Houghton Lake, Higgins Lake, and the surrounding area are full of cabins and cottages that sit empty for months at a time. That creates unique HVAC challenges:
- Frozen pipes and no-heat failures in winter — we can install safeguards and monitor systems
- Systems that sit unused for months — annual tune-ups catch issues before they become emergencies
- Ductless mini-splits are ideal for cabins — no ductwork needed, efficient heating and cooling in one unit
- Generac generators keep the heat on — when the power goes out at your lake home, the generator keeps the furnace running
Indoor Air Quality
- Whole-home humidifiers and dehumidifiers
- 5" media filters and electronic air filters
- Air ionizers and RGF purification systems
- ERV and HRV ventilation systems
- UV light purification systems
- Air quality testing and assessment
